Meaghan Gibbins is an accomplished communications specialist, having worked in a variety of industries including financial services, healthcare, technology and consulting. Since 2007, she has provided writing and communication services in diverse settings, from small private start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
Meaghan enjoys tackling multidisciplinary projects utilizing her varied areas of expertise, which include research and analysis, strategic communications planning and event management, as well as developing and implementing public relations and communications plans and materials for a broad variety of media and audiences. Meaghan has worn many hats in her career thus far – business communications analyst, public relations specialist, web content writer, investor relations coordinator, communications consultant, government relations associate, event planner and corporate affairs manager, to name a few.
Outside the workplace, Meaghan is actively involved in providing pro bono event planning and execution support for non-profit organizations and charitable fundraising initiatives. She currently volunteers with the Oakville & Milton Humane Society in her spare time.
Meaghan studied Psychology at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She also holds a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Communications, with Honours, from Humber College of Applied Arts & Technology in Toronto.
